EVERY CHOICE ( A Poem) by Egbeyale Fisayo
Every choice is a way,
consecutive space to a place.
One step leads to other,
leading straight to some stage
Every chance is a junction,
black asphalt, two sides a coin;
Either taken or left,
still the reward lingers
Not all that follows a valley is a mountain,
Earth may decide to play a trick
Not all that falls from welkin is rain
Heaven also decides which the ground needs
Every step is a door,
clearly bringing the Walker to a room
Every rock in the river,
readily has a tale for the view
Every act is a choice,
sequentially quiet space to a phase.
